On exchange of the protocol letters on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations

On 27 January 2017 Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus Oleg Kravchenko met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland to the Republic of Belarus Fionna Gibb.

During the meeting, Fionna Gibb handed over to the Belarusian Side a protocol letter from the Foreign Secretary of the United Kingdom Boris Johnson, addressed to Vladimir Makei, Minister for Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus on the occasion of the 25th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two states.

On the same day, Sergei Aleinik, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic Belarus to the United Kingdom met with Director of the Department for Eastern Europe and Central Asia of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Michael Tatham and presented the equivalent protocol letter from the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus to the Head of the British Foreign Office.
