Invitation to Minsk Half Marathon 2016

On September 4 in celebration of the Minsk City Day, a long-expected event for all fans and professional runners — Minsk Half Marathon 2016 — will take place. This year we will gather even more fans from Belarus and foreign countries by organizing a real feast of international level. A registration is now open for all concerned on the official website of the Minsk Half Marathon 2016 — minskhalfmarathon.by. We invite you to become part of the incredible large-scale event and get a lot of positive emotions by choosing one of the suggested distances: 5.5 km, 10,5 km or half marathon (21 km 97m).
We would like to note that the course remains unchanged — it runs through the central part of the city, so that participants could enjoy the beauty of the festive Belarusian capital. There will be refreshing stations with drinking water all along the course. The participants, guests and spectators of the Minsk Half Marathon-2016 will be entertained and supported by musical, historic, theatrical and other zones.
Money certificates that will receive absolute winners following each of the races are a pleasant stimulus. Currently we are designing medals and t-shirts, as well as diplomas for participants (with indication of personal time) that will be online after the event and will be available for printing to everybody who overcame the selected distance.
If you have a desire to improve your physical abilities to the Minsk Half Marathon 2016 or just spend time in the sports company, you have an excellent opportunity to train 2 times a week at #followminsk with a professional coach. It should be mentioned that all trainings are absolutely free and are conducted in one of the most picturesque parks of Minsk — Victory Park. It has become a good tradition to invite various media persons to take part in trainings, as well as famous athletes who share professional training secrets. Every Wednesday and Saturday the #followminsk friendly team waits for beginners.
We invite all organizations and enterprises to participate in the corporate 5km race. Team participation would strengthen the coherence and mutual support among your co-workers and will be a good opportunity to spend time together.
This year, as in the past thanks to the Ministry of Sports and Tourism of the Republic of Belarus, every participant will be able to get a free entry visa.
Invite your foreign friends to participate in the Minsk Half Marathon 2016, as well as get acquainted with one of the most beautiful cities of our country — the city of Minsk.

Note: Registration for 5.5 km is free for school children, students and retired people, as well as for people with disabilities, participants of the Great Patriotic War and military actions in Afghanistan and people involved in the liquidation of the accident on Chernobyl Atomic Station (please present supporting documents when getting bib numbers).
