Ambassador S.Aleinik met with the leaders of British and Irish Chernobyl humanitarian organizations

23 November the Embassy hosted a meeting of Ambassador Sergei Aleinik with the leaders of seven British and Irish Chernobyl humanitarian organizations. The meeting was attended by senior officials of the Department for humanitarian activities under the Office of the President of the Republic of Belarus, the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Belarus and the representative of Belavia in London.

During the meeting they discussed issues of strengthening humanitarian cooperation of the Republic of Belarus with the UK and Ireland, who have occupied since the 90s a leading position in the field and dispose of great experience of work with Belarusian partners.

The Ambassador thanked the charities from the UK and Ireland for their generous and noble work aimed at rehabilitating Chernobyl’s children and providing grant support for Belarusian medical and social institutions.
