Ambassador meets with the Vice President of the EBRD

On 21 May 2018 Ambassador of Belarus in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Sergei Aleinik met with Mr Alain Pilloux, Vice President of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development.
During the meeting, the Parties welcomed the positive dynamics in cooperation, discussed the Bank’s ongoing projects in various sectors of the Belarusian economy implemented under EBRD Country Strategy for Belarus 2016 – 2019, as well as identified further steps to expand cooperation.
Reference: the total volume of EBRD investments in the economy of Belarus since 1992 exceeds 2 billion euros. The volume of the Bank’s operations in Belarus in 2017 amounted to 163 million euros, for the four months of 2018 – 88,3 million euros.
