S.Aleinik meets the Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization

On September 5, 2019, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Permanent Representative of the Republic of Belarus to the International Maritime Organization Sergei Aleinik met with the Secretary-General of the International Maritime Organization (IMO) Kitack Lim.
During the meeting, the Instruments of Accession of the Republic of Belarus to the International Convention on Civil Liability for Bunker Oil Pollution Damage, 2001, and the Nairobi International Convention on the Removal of Wrecks, 2007, were deposited with the Secretary-General of the IMO.
The parties discussed the current state of affairs and prospects of cooperation in the sphere of maritime transport, issues of preparation and holding of the 31st session of the IMO Assembly in November 2019.
