Telephone conversation of Ambassador M.Yermalovich with Minister of Health and Minister of Transport and Communications of Belarus

On December 21, 2020, Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Maxim Yermalovich had a telephone conversation with Minister of Health of the Republic of Belarus Dmitry Pinevich and Minister of Transport and Communications of the Republic of Belarus Aleksei Avramenko.

The participants of the conversation discussed the sharp deterioration in the COVID-19 epidemiological situation in the UK and the ban on its nationals’ entry introduced by a number of European countries.

They exchanged views on the possible impact of the surge in coronavirus in the UK on the epidemiological situation in Belarus and transport links between the two countries during the upcoming New Year holidays.

State bodies of the Republic of Belarus and the Embassy are monitoring the development of the situation. At present, air flights operate between Belarus and the United Kingdom.
