About participation in events in honor of the Victory Day

On May 2, 2024, the delegation of the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northen Ireland in a solemn atmosphere laid a wreth at the international memorial in the Scottish city of Dendee.

It was installed in honor of the submarine crews who were based here during the Great Patriotic War and who died during combat missions.

Among them, our fellow countryman, Gonchar Vladimir Pavlovich, a native of the village of Sloboda, Mozyr district, Gomel region, holder of the Order of the Patriotic War, 1st degree and Order od the Red Star.

On May 9, 2024, Charge d'Affaires of Belarus in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Dmitry Kozlovsky took part in the annual wreath-laying ceremony at the Soviet War Memorial in London.

The solemn event dedicated to the 79th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War was also attended by the heads of diplomatic missions of the CIS countries and representatives of the local public.
