Trade and Investment Cooperation
Until 2022, the United Kingdom was a significant trading partner of the Republic of Belarus and by the end of 2021 it occupied the 16th place in the list of leading importers of Belarusian goods. Since that period, trade in goods between Belarus and the United Kingdom has been showing a downward trend due to the restrictive measures imposed by the United Kingdom that violate international law.
At the current stage, economic cooperation with the UK is limited. Along with direct sanctions restrictions, trade cooperation is also hindered by the presence of barriers in the logistics of supplies and settlements.
