About the exhibition of the orthodox icons of St. Elisabeth Convent

On the 17th of November 2015 at 18.30 a presentation of the exhibition of the orthodox icons made by-hand in the workshops of St. Elisabeth Convent: “The Orthodox Icon: Various Ways to Depict a Sacred Image exhibition" will take place. The exhibition is to be held in Sacred Space Gallery, London, from November 16 till November 30, 2015, the gallery is open from 10.00 AM-1.00PM.

The exhibition will feature icons hand painted using egg tempera and acryl, crushed stone icons and landscapes, gold embroidery images. All items on display are also available for sale; the proceeds will help our charitable work with mentally challenged children and adults, alcoholics, drug addicts, and other disadvantaged people.
