Ambassador of Belarus to UK meets BOA the CEO and Secretary General

On 16 August 2018 Ambassador of Belarus to the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland Sergei Aleinik met with the leadership of the British Olympic Association to discuss preparations to the 2nd European Games to be held in 2019 in Minsk.
The meeting was attended by the CEO and Secretary General of the British Olympic Association, Mr.Bill Sweeney, the European Games team Chef de Mission, Dr.Paul Ford, and the Director for Olympic Relations, Ms. Jan Paterson.
During the meeting the British Side welcomed the high readiness of the Belarusian side to host the 2nd European Games. The sides discussed the participation of British athletes in the Games, as well as the development of cooperation between the Belarusian Olympic Committee and the British Olympic Association.
