About Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange
27.05.2015The OJSC Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange was established in 2003 in order to improve the mechanism of government regulation in the field of domestic and foreign trade and to develop formal wholesale market.
The exchange auctions are held in strict conformity with Rules of exchange trade for goods included in the List of commodities, admitted to exchange trade.
The auctions are divided into four commodity sections:
- Section of metal products,
- Section of timber,
- Section of agricultural products,
- Section of industrial and consumer goods.
Auctions for metal products, timber and agricultural products are held only in Russian, while auctions for industrial and consumer goods are held both in Russian and English.
Trading platforms of the Exchange are located in Minsk and in regional centers of Belarus. All trading platforms function simultaneously, according to the calendar of the auctions. Such unity became possible thanks to specially created automated system of the organization of the auctions — Trading System of the Exchange.
Exchange trade in a remote access mode (via Internet) is in high demand. Installed on your PC, this special software allows you to participate in the exchange trades from a convenient location (your office, home, car, etc.) both in Belarus and abroad.
The exchange auctions for industrial and consumer goods are held only via Internet. Thus our clients have a possibility to arrive to the central office of the Exchange or its branches and join the exchange auctions via Internet directly at the Exchange.
To join the exchange auctions it is necessary to get accreditation or contact an exchange broker. It is possible to buy industrial and consumer goods without accreditation, but it requires on-line registration.
More details about the exchange auctions you can learn from Rules of exchange trade and the basic documents regulating exchange trade.
